  • High School Seniors Invited to Apply

In order to honor Rabbi Aaron Rosenberg's thirty-five years of service to Temple Emanu-El and to continue the spirit of Tikkun Olam he taught and modeled for all the children of the congregation, this award/scholarship has been established. The Rabbi Aaron Rosenberg Tikkun Olam Award will be given each spring to a high school senior of Temple Emanu-El who with his/her actions makes the Temple Emanu-El Community and the community at-large a better place. A plaque with the yearly honorees will be posted in the atrium outside the Religious School.

A committee has been formed to review applications and to select the worthy recipient. The application will be sent to all eligible high school seniors and is also available in the Temple Office and in this bulletin. Deadline for application is Friday, April 15, 2016.

The recipient of the award will be announced and honored together with the 2016 recipient of the Howard Illson Award in May or June.
